Human Resources Committee

• Committee approved that the difference in projected and actuals for Chubb Insurance premiums, at a cost of $33,077, be financed from the WSIB Reserve. Report

Human Services Committee

• Committee received a report on 2023 Strategic Community Initiatives Grant Recipients. Report

Long Term Care Homes Committee of Management

• Committee approved that the COVID-19 Immunization Policy for Bruce County Long Term Care Homes be rescinded effective immediately. Report
• Committee received a May 2023 Long-Term Care Update Report. Report

Museum Committee

• Committee approved revisions for the Children’s Programming Policy. Report
• Committee received a report on Museum Information Items. Report

Paramedic Services Committee

• Committee received an update on Community Paramedicine. Report
• Committee received a report on the Governor General’s Emergency Medical Services Exemplary Service Medals, awarded to Paramedics Judy Brookshaw and Gloria Bowes. Report 

Executive Committee

• Committee approved the intergovernmental relations strategy, allowing staff to begin implementation within existing resources, and that Council direct staff to explore potential long-term resource needs for presentation and consideration during the 2024 budget process. Report
• Committee approved the recommendations in the Committee Structure Review report, with the documents required to implement the recommendations being presented at future meetings. Staff were directed to include provisions in the Procedural By-law to create a Deputy Warden position for Council’s consideration and to prepare a Terms of Reference to create a Striking Committee. Report
• Committee received a report on the Q1 2022 Business Plan. Report
• Committee received a report on Delegations for the 2023 Association of Municipalities of Ontario (AMO) Conference. Report
