Thank you for joining us for Bridges to More Business: 7 Ways to Increase Your Sales on a Small Budget

Roger Brooks held a fast-paced, entertaining workshop outlining seven ways to increase sales while saving money and how to best leverage marketing dollars. After work in in over 2000 communities, Roger shared plenty of examples of what small businesses have done by narrowing their focus and targeting their advertising.

This fall, Business to Bruce is pleased to host three seminars with business expert Harold Devries. Harold is a professor at the School of Business & Hospitality at Conestoga College and has been instrumental in the development and launch of more than 200 businesses since 1999.

How Big does My Business Need to Be? November 27, 10am - Noon, Ripley Huron Community Centre, Social Room.

Launching a business can be a daunting task. How do you estimate the potential of an opportunity?  How much revenue can you generate from providing the product/service?  In this 2 hour workshop you will discover how to apply a variety of methodologies to determine how big your business needs to be, how big it can be, and how big you want it to be.

Tools of the Trade. November 27, 1-3pm, Ripley Huron Community Centre, Social Room. 

For many the prospect of understanding the dollars and cents of business is daunting without an aptitude for accounting. In this 2-hour seminar, using a hands-on approach, you will understand the tools used in business to measure the success and performance of a venture.  You learn how to create and analyze a Cash Flow Statement, interpret Income Statements and understand the uses of a Balance Sheet.  This is accounting 101 for non-accountants.
