Join Women's House Serving Bruce and Grey, and Bruce County’s Business to Bruce, for a do-not-miss International Women’s Day event — An Evening with Women Leading Change on Friday, March 10, 2023, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Pavilion in Kincardine.

Women entrepreneurs are raising the bar, breaking glass ceilings, building new bridges and leading Bruce County’s economy and prosperity. Be inspired from stories of women leaders in our community, speaking about their take on this year’s International Women’s Day theme #EmbraceEquity.

“For the 5th year, Bruce County is proud to partner with Women’s House Serving Bruce and Grey to host this event, supporting an organization that protects some of the most vulnerable members of our community, while also shining light on local entrepreneurs spearheading change in our communities,” says Chris Peabody, Bruce County Warden.

Tickets are $50 per seat and can be purchased until March 8 at noon. Tables of eight can be reserved. Additional donations are being accepted on behalf of Women's House Serving Bruce and Grey.

An online auction will also run from March 4 until March 13, with funds raised going directly to Women's House Serving Bruce and Grey. Winning bidders will be announced at the event and will receive an email indicating that their bid won.

“We’re excited to be back in person for our 5th annual International Women’s Day event. We are thankful for the continued generosity and support of our sponsors that allow us to be part of important initiatives that give back to the businesses and assist the women in our community,” comments Michelle Lamont, Community and Fund Development Coordinator for Women’s House.

In addition, recipients of the annual Women's House Woman of Distinction award will be presented at the event.
