Health and Safety

The Occupational Health and Safety Division works in cooperation with all departments throughout the County and Joint Health and Safety Committees to promote occupational health and safety for every employee. We adhere to the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations and strive to exceed its standards. This is accomplished through consulting, training, conducting workplace inspections and making recommendations to ensure a safe work environment for all staff.

We promote our Health and Safety program in all sectors so that our employees apply their knowledge of safe work practices both at work and at home.
