In May 2017, Bruce County and the Town of Saugeen Shores completed a Master Plan to plan various road and drainage undertakings within a broad area central to Saugeen Shores along Bruce Roads 25 and 33. Phase 1 was constructed in 2019 with Phase 2 being completed in 2020. A Municipal Class Environmental Assessment was also carried out in May 2020. Phase 3 of the Master Plan will see construction underway on Bruce Road 25 from approximately April 2021 through November 2021. Bruce County strives to enhance roadways and infrastructure in sustainable and innovative ways.
