Respiratory Outbreak at Brucelea Haven

We are experiencing cases of respiratory symptoms on Floor #4 – floor 4 West is in a confirmed respiratory outbreak. A visitor restriction is in effect on Floor 4 West only. Please use additional precautions when visiting these units.

Wash hands before and after visiting your loved one and use hand sanitizer located by each resident room and throughout the facility.

Please visit residents in their rooms and not in communal areas such as the lounge.

Please do not visit throughout the facility. If you have more than one loved one please visit the ill resident last and the well resident first. Please wash your hands between visits.

Please do not visit the home if you are feeling sick or unwell. the best way to prevent the spread of germs is to use proper hand hygiene.

If you are providing personal care for your loved one, who is ill, please wear the personal protective equipment as listed on the isolation sign. Public Health will advise us of the date that our outbreak is over. Please pass this message on to others in your family.
