Bruce County Update on Mill Creek Bridge - Reopened September 14, 2018 as of 6:00 p.m.

The County of Bruce is completing rehabilitation work on Mill Creek Bridge located on Bruce Road 17 at the east limit of Port Elgin in the Town of Saugeen Shores. This work includes the replacement of the super-structure of the bridge, and the additions of sidewalk and improved lighting. The Mill Creek Bridge has been reopened as of Friday, September 14, 2018 at 6:00 p.m.

Mill Creek Bridge on Bruce Road 17, at the east limit of Port Elgin has been RE-OPENED as of 4:15pm – Friday September 14, 2018. The media release has the official bridge opening time of 6:00pm however it is passible at this time. The Department would like to acknowledge the ongoing support for this closure and appreciates the patience of all stakeholders during this construction period.
