Bruce County Tourism Innovation Lab

The Tourism Innovation Lab is where we find, foster and support new tourism experiences, product ideas and collaborative partnerships, and we build a community of tourism innovators, idea makers and entrepreneurs in Bruce County and Ontario.

Do you have a new creative tourism idea for the Bruce Peninsula?

Spark Grant

The Spark Grant is for tourism entrepreneurs and their creative ideas to address the sustainable tourism opportunities on the Bruce Peninsula.

The purpose of the grant is to instigate creative entrepreneurial thinking, to expand existing tourism offerings in order to motivate people to come, stay and spend more. The tourism market of today is savvy and selective. They want to visit where there is an array of experiences. Especially those that expose the local flavor, are educational, interesting and fun. This program sparks that creative thinking in a way that speaks to this new market of visitors.

Spark Grant Program in Bruce County encourages individuals, small businesses and non-profits to apply with their new tourism ideas.

Selected applicants / program participants will receive:

  • 3-month mentorship with a recognized tourism innovator and/or industry mentor;
  • $3,000 "Spark" grant; and
  • Access to a support network of tourism innovators, entrepreneurs and leaders.
