David Inglis - Municipality of Brockton

David was first elected as a Brockton Councillor in 2006 and was elected Mayor in 2010 and 2014. He also served two terms as Warden of Bruce County in 2012 and 2013.

After graduation from the Ontario Agriculture College in Guelph, David worked in Extension with the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture and Food in Huron County for three years. He then came home to the family dairy farm near Walkerton where the family raised a purebred Holstein herd, which earned two Master Breeder Awards from the Canadian Holstein Association.

During this time, David was involved in leadership roles with a number of community organizations including: Director and President of the Walkerton Agriculture Society, Trustee and Chairman of the Bruce County Board of Education, Member and President of the Canadian 4-H Council and Director and President of Walkerton and District Community Living.

David is a Queen's Diamond Jubilee Medal recipient and is an active member of St. Paul's United Church, Walkerton.
